How to Create KuCoin Account (Step-by-Step Tutorial)

in this video I'm going to show you how you can set up and secure your qcoin account step by step I'm going to show you every single step on my computer so by the end of this video you will have a setup and secured kucoin account so the first thing that you want to do is go to kucoin.com or you can use the first link down in the description and if you use Create KUCOIN Account that link you will get a 10 discount on all of your cuecoin trips so once you are over on kucoin right here all we are going to do is click on sign up in this top right corner things and that is going to take you over to this screen where it says create account now we have two options we can either sign up with email or through phone number personally I would recommend to sign up with your email as it makes the process a lot easier and that's what I'm going to do right here so first of all just go ahead and enter in the email that you would like to use and once you have done that just go ahead and create the password that you would like to use for your account once that information has been entered you can see down here it says referral code which is optional and once again you can use my referral code it's right here if you want to go ahead and copy that in not entirely sure if this referral code gives you an extra bonus or an extra discount but it's worth putting it in there just in case so once all of that information is entered just go ahead and click create account it didn't ask me to do this but it may ask you to click on a couple of boxes so just go ahead and do that and then it will take you through to this screen right here where it says enter the six digit verification code sent to your email so just go ahead and open up your email inbox and as you can see right here you should verification code email just go ahead and open that up and then your verification code should be right here so all you need to do is enter that in and just like that we should not be taken through and we should now have a cuecoin account so it says account created just go ahead and click on verify now and it's going to take you Verification through to this screen where you need to verify who you actually are and prove that you are an actual person so the first thing that we need to do is provide personal information so from here just click on verify and then right here it says verify with cuecoin up which is something that you can do I personally wouldn't recommend it as it just adds more moving parts so just go to the bottom here and click on continue in browser is that going to take you to this area which is an identity verification so first of all in this box just enter the country that you are from then it says to verify with a passport ID card or driver's license it really doesn't matter which one you go for just choose any of these and then you can go ahead and verify your identity so from here just go ahead and fill out your information and once all of that has been entered just click on continue as you can see the personal information has now been submitted so we then move to level two verification so once again you just want to go through this time it's going to ask you basically for a photo of your ID to prove that you are who you say you are it's going to ask for an upload method there are a few different methods right here if you're on desktop the method that I would recommend is you just want to go ahead and grab your mobile phone take a photo of the identity that you would like to upload and then just go ahead and email it to yourself so that you can upload the file from this device so that's exactly what I'm going to do right now so once you have the image of your ID just go ahead and click upload file from this device and then click right here on choose file select the file or the photo that you want to upload and then go ahead and click confirm as you can see it's just going to check the image quality check that nothing is blurry and then it's going to ask you to verify your face so just click on start right here and then going to turn on your webcam so just send to your face in the middle click take a photo and then it's just going to use the photo that you sent compare it to your ID and make sure you are who you say you are once all of Security that is done you can now use kucoin and you can go ahead and start buying and selling any cryptocurrency that you like however there is one more major step that I would highly recommend for you guys to do and that is to secure your account to stop against hackers or scammers or basically people trying to break into your account so the way to do this is you want to go up to your profile icon or where it says your initials in this top corner and then from here just go down to account security is then going to bring up a bunch of different security settings that you can use I would recommend turning as many of these on as possible as that's just going to secure your account and make sure that nobody can get in the first thing or the most important is your phone so to connect your phone to your account just click on bind on this right hand side good morning and then it's going to come up and ask you to verify a code using your email once again just to make things extra secure so you just go ahead and click Send code so just go back over to your email as you can see we have another coupon verification code so just click on this once again you can copy and paste this into cuecoin and then it's going to take you to this page where you can go ahead and add a new mobile number what we're going to do here is go to the country code select the country that you are from then go to the phone number enter in your current phone number right here once your phone number has been entered just go ahead and click Send code and then kucoin is going to send a verification code over to your phone number just go ahead open your phone enter in the number that you just received to your texts and then once that is done and you have the verification code in here click activate and that will link your mobile phone to your qcoin account another thing that you can do to add extra security is go for Google verification so once again we are just going to click bind on this right hand side once again we're going to have to go through an email verification code so just like normal click on send code go over to your emails and as you can see cuecoin are going to send you another verification code so click into this email right here once again we're just going to Simply copy and paste this code into cuecoin and it's going to take us over to this 2fm verification so what you are going to do is just grab your mobile phone go to the App Store if you are on Apple or if you are on Android go over to the Play Store and in here we are going to search for Google Authenticator just like that now as you can see I already have this installed but it is this up right here simply called Google Authenticator and this is the logo that you can see so I'm actually going to go ahead and update this you should go ahead and install this app and once it has installed just go ahead and click on open once the Google Authenticator has loaded this is the screen that you should see now what you are going to do is click on ADD code right here in the middle and once this page loads up it's going to say scan a QR code or enter a setup key personally I would click on scan a QR code as it just makes the whole process a lot easier it's then going to ask for access to your camera and then all you need to do is scan this QR code that's in the center of your screen just like that now as you can see on my screen it now says cuecoin and this is the code that I need to enter so this one is about to expire but if this one loads up as you can see if I just enter this into my computer and click activate that is now going to link my qcoin account to my Google Authenticator okay so this is a different day which explains why the lighting is a little bit different however I just want to mention that you can also go down here go into the advanced settings and make your account even more secure now this is completely optional as long as you have these three things above so your email your phone and your Google verification enabled that is usually all you need to fully secure your account however if you are a little bit more worried or you just want that extra security with your funds you can absolutely go down here and start playing around with these settings to make sure that your account is even more secure once all of these two-factor authentication methods have been set up and have been connected to your account you can now
